Falling off the bike was never the problem. Walking it home forever is.

CREATIVITY
Falling is an event and stopping is a decision. The crash itself takes two seconds and leaves a scrape, and what actually shapes the next year is whether you get back on or push the bike the rest of the way, telling yourself you were never really a cyclist. Nobody judges the fall. The long walk is the part that costs something.
Take whatever threw you recently and work out the smallest possible version of getting back on. Not the full attempt, the shortest one. You are not trying to prove anything, you are interrupting the walk home before it becomes the route.
Have you been walking something home instead of riding?
