GPS recalculates without judging you. Take the hint when your plans change.

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Recalculating is a neutral operation. A wrong turn produces no lecture and no reference to the last four wrong turns, just a new route from where you actually are, which is the only place a route can start from. People do the opposite with themselves: they spend the next twenty minutes on the mistake and none on the new directions.

When a plan falls through this week, give the disappointment its few minutes and then ask the only useful question, which is what the best next move is from this exact position. Not from the position you meant to be in. Write down one step and take it today.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Which changed plan are you still punishing yourself over?
