Nobody is actually testing you on coffee. What gets noticed is whether a small task turns into a negotiation, because that predicts what the big ones will feel like. Being easy to work with is rarer than being talented and it is visible from across a room. That is not the same as being used, and the difference is whether anything ever comes back the other way.

Do one unassigned small thing this week without narrating it. Stack the chairs, send the group the notes, learn where things are kept. Then watch who starts asking your opinion.
