Some things run entirely without reference to how you feel about them. The night does not extend because it was a bad one, and nothing you did today altered the time the light comes back. That is a small fact and a real one, and on certain nights small and real is the whole offer.

Lower the bar to getting to morning. Water, a blanket, a stupid show, one message to somebody. If the nights have been like that for a while, tell one person out loud, because carrying it alone makes it heavier than it has to be.
