GPS never yells when you miss the turn. It just says “recalculating.” Be that chill with yourself.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
A wrong turn is a routing problem, not a character problem, and the machine treats it that way. It does not review your history, it looks at where you are and builds the next best path from there. Most of the punishment after a mistake gets added by you, on top of a situation that just needs a new route.
Next time you get something wrong, say the word to yourself plainly: recalculating. Skip the lecture entirely. Ask only what the next turn is from where you are standing, and then take it.
How harshly do you talk to yourself after mistakes?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
