Contribution creates significance without requiring fame.

Significance and fame get confused because fame is visible and significance is not. Most of what genuinely matters in people’s lives was done by someone they cannot name, and the doer did not lack anything for it. The contribution is real whether or not it is attributed.

If you want your life to count, stop measuring by reach and start measuring by effect. Ask who is actually better off. That number is usually smaller and far more solid.
