Trust that arrives all at once is not trust, it is a guess. People show you who they are in small increments: a secret kept, a plan they did not cancel, a moment when making you look bad would have been easy and they passed. Each of those is a payment, and enough of them add up to something you can stand on.

Give access at the speed somebody has earned it. Share the medium thing first and watch where it lands. That is pacing rather than suspicion, and it saves you from handing over everything in week two and spending a year regretting it.
