When you can’t see far ahead, you don’t park. You slow down and use your low beams.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Uncertainty is a reason to change speed, not a reason to stop. You do not need the whole route in order to make the next turn, and waiting for full visibility usually means waiting forever, since it almost never arrives in advance. What you actually need is enough light for the next short stretch.

Work out how far you can genuinely see, which is often two or three weeks, and plan only that far. Take the shorter deadline, the smaller commitment, the option you can reverse. Keep moving and let the road appear.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

What unclear plan are you parked on instead of crawling forward?
