The best parts of your life don’t all need an audience. Some things lose their power when they get posted.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Posting changes the thing while you are still inside it. Part of your attention shifts to framing, to how it will read, to who will see it, and the experience gets thinner in exchange for being shared. Some things survive that and some do not: a private joke, a first attempt, a day that was good precisely because nobody was watching. Turning those into material spends them.
Keep one good thing this week entirely off the internet. Notice whether the urge to share was about the moment or about the reaction afterward. Either answer tells you something.
What lost some of its power the moment you posted it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
