You’re living your origin story right now. Nobody’s origin story is supposed to be comfortable.

The hard stretch is not an interruption of the story, it is the part people skip to when they tell it later. No beginning is comfortable, because comfort teaches nothing and leaves nothing to tell. That does not make what you are going through good or fair, and some of it is genuinely just bad. It does mean you are not off track for finding it difficult.

Write down plainly what is hard right now and what you are doing about it. Date it and put it somewhere you will find it in three years. Later you will want the accurate version rather than the tidy one.
