The pressure to have it all figured out by twenty-two is made up. No one handed out that deadline.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Nobody issued that deadline and there is no office where it gets enforced. It was assembled out of a few visible success stories, some well meant questions at family dinners, and the fact that everyone else looks more certain than they actually are. Plenty of people find their thing at thirty, or at forty, after a decade of jobs that went nowhere in particular. The certainty you are measuring yourself against is largely performance.
Swap the deadline for a direction. Rather than deciding what you will be, name what you want to be better at in two years and take the next step.
Whose deadline for your future are you secretly trying to meet?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
