One unflattering photo is a camera angle, not your face. Don’t let it caption how you see yourself.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
A photograph is one angle, a fraction of a second, one set of conditions, and it knows nothing about what you look like to the people who know you. Faces move, and a still frame catches a position rather than a person. Giving that frame the final word hands your self image to a camera. What you saw was a bad capture, not a revelation.
If an image bothers you, notice how long you have been looking at it and close it. Ask someone who was there what they remember about the day. You are allowed to delete it and get on with things.
Which photo of yourself did you decide was the truth?
