A bad hair day is a bad hair day. Don’t let it audition for the role of a bad life.

REFLECTION
Small bad things expand the moment you let them stand for something larger. A minor annoyance becomes evidence, the evidence becomes a story about how everything goes for you, and nothing in the original event justified any of that. Scale is the whole issue here. Keeping a small thing small is a skill and it takes deliberate effort.
Name a small annoyance in one plain sentence and stop there. Refuse any sentence that starts with everything or always. The event is allowed to be exactly its own size.
Which small annoyance did you promote to a whole bad day?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
