Some days the win is showing up clean, fed and on time. Count those. They add up.
GRATITUDE
GRATITUDE
On the hardest days the standard has to move, or you end them convinced you failed at everything. Being washed, fed and where you said you would be takes real effort when things are bad, and it is invisible work that nobody counts, yourself included. Meeting the basics is not lowered ambition, on those days it is the entire task. Counting them keeps the record honest.
Write down the plain things you managed today, without deciding whether they were impressive. Do it on the bad days especially. A run of maintained days is what a recovery is actually made of.
On a hard day, what counts as a win for you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
