Nobody sees the comeback while it’s happening. They only notice it when it’s done.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Recovery is invisible from the outside because it is made of ordinary repeated days that nobody photographs. People register change only when the gap between then and now is wide enough to see at a glance. That gap gets built in stretches where no one is paying attention and nothing looks like progress yet.
So do not measure your effort by how much of it registers with anyone. Pick one thing this week that you would keep doing even if no one asked about it, and keep a private record of the days you did it. The witnesses arrive late, and the work does not wait for them.
What are you doing now that will only show later?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
