When the car stalls you restart it. Nobody sells the car over one stall.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
One failure gets treated as a diagnosis far more often than it deserves. A bad performance, a missed deadline, a week where nothing worked is an event, and events happen to functioning things constantly. The urge to conclude something sweeping from it is rarely caution. It is exhaustion looking for a decision.
Give yourself a rule about timing: no major conclusions about a project or a path on the day something goes wrong. Wait a week, then look again with the same facts and a rested head. Usually the answer is to start it up again.
What did you almost give up on after one stall?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
