Once a year, text someone who helped get you where you are. Most helpers never find out they mattered.
GRATITUDE
GRATITUDE
People who help rarely learn what came of it. The teacher, the manager, the friend who made the introduction all moved on to their own week and never saw the result, so the thing they did sits in your history and not in theirs. Gratitude that stays unspoken does nothing at all for the person who earned it.
Pick one name and send the message this week. Be specific about what they did and what it led to, because vague thanks is pleasant and forgettable. A few sentences naming the actual moment tends to land somewhere they keep.
Who helped you years ago and never heard about it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
