Live so your great-grandkids tell your story at dinner and the whole table leans in.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
What survives four generations is never a list of positions held. Families pass on character: the risk someone took, the person they stood by, the way they treated people with nothing to offer. Nobody at that table will know your job title, and the parts that last are almost always decisions rather than accomplishments.
Ask what story is currently being written by how you spend an ordinary year. If it seems dull, that is not because your life is small but because the interesting parts come from choices. Do one thing this year that would be worth retelling.
What part of your life would make a good dinner story?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
