Lucky breaks happen once. Success you actually understand, you can do again.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Winning without knowing why is pleasant and teaches nothing. An outcome you cannot explain is not a method, which is why some early successes get followed by years of confusion. Understanding the reason something worked is what converts a result into a capability you can carry somewhere else.
After the next thing that goes well, spend twenty minutes writing down what you actually did. Be specific and unflattering: what was your effort, what was timing, what was somebody else entirely. The parts you can repeat are the ones worth keeping, and separating them early saves a great deal of guesswork.
Can you explain why your last success actually worked?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
