REFLECTION
Effort only accumulates when it points somewhere consistent. Working hard at whatever arrives feels virtuous and produces motion without displacement, because each week’s exertion cancels the direction of the last. Energy is rarely the scarce resource for driven people. Aim is.
Write down where you want to be in three years, in a sentence someone else could understand. Then look at last week and ask which hours actually moved you toward it. The answer is usually uncomfortable, and it is also the most useful thing you will work out this month.
Where are you working hard without moving anywhere?
