If your goal only works when someone else loses what they need, it’s not a goal. It’s a heist.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Some plans require a victim, and that requirement often hides inside language about competition or efficiency. Competing for something scarce is ordinary and fine. Building an outcome that depends on somebody losing housing, safety or a livelihood is a different structure, and calling it ambition does not change what it is.
Trace who pays for what you are building. If the answer includes people who cannot afford to and did not agree to it, look for another route to the same place, because there usually is one. Being willing to ask is most of the protection.
Who would lose something they need if you got what you want?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
