No trophy is big enough to fill a hole that was never about trophies.

REFLECTION
Achievement is good at solving the problem it is actually aimed at and useless against everything else. If the ache underneath is about not feeling wanted or not feeling safe, another win will ease it for an afternoon and then leave it exactly where it was. Chasing harder is the natural response, and it is pointed at the wrong target.
When a win lands flat, treat that as information rather than a reason to want more. Ask what the feeling was really asking for, and whether it belongs to a person rather than a scoreboard. That question is uncomfortable, and it is also the only one that helps.
What are you actually hoping winning will finally fix?
