Renting is fine for now. Just make sure somewhere in your life you’re building something you own.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Paying for the use of something is not a failure, and it is also not accumulation. The question is whether anything in your life is getting larger while you pay for the rest: savings, a skill, a body of work, a reputation. Without that, years pass and the position stays identical.
Name the thing you own that is growing, and be honest if the answer is nothing yet. Pick one and put a small regular amount of money or time into it starting this month. It does not have to be property, and it does have to be yours.
What in your life do you actually own outright?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
