Sharing credit doesn’t split it. People trust whoever says “we” when they could have said “I.”

LEADERSHIP
Credit is not a fixed pie, and the people watching are mostly noting how you handle it. Naming others makes you look larger rather than smaller, because generosity under no obligation reads as confidence. The person who takes everything signals that they needed to.
Next time you describe something that went well, name at least one other person who touched it. Be accurate rather than performatively humble, since false modesty is easy to spot. Notice how differently people treat you over a few months of doing that.
When did you take sole credit for shared work?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
