Your first business might fail. Count it as tuition, not tragedy. You’ll be sharper on the second one.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
A first attempt is mostly an education in things that cannot be read about: how long everything takes, what customers actually say, where your attention goes when it gets hard. If it ends, the knowledge does not. Treating the loss as a verdict on you throws away the only thing you bought.
Write down what you learned while it is still fresh, including the parts that make you wince. Be specific about what you would do in the first month next time. Then give yourself a while before deciding whether there is a next time.
What did a failed attempt teach you worth the price?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
