Complaining without changing anything is just choosing to stay with extra sound effects.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Naming a problem out loud can feel like progress on it, which is why complaint is so satisfying and so sticky. The situation is unchanged afterward, except that you have spent energy and possibly convinced yourself the matter is being handled. Talking about it is not the same as doing anything about it.
Take the thing you have complained about most this month and decide plainly whether you will act or accept. Either is fine, and the third option is what has been costing you. If you act, name the first step and the day.
What do you complain about but never actually change?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
