A decision looks different when you picture yourself describing it out loud to people who love you. Most of what fills a week leaves no story behind at all, and a few things become the ones you keep. Using the future telling as a filter cuts through a lot of in-the-moment reasoning that will not survive the year.

Before the next thing you are unsure about, ask which version makes a story worth hearing. If neither does, it probably does not matter much, and you can choose the easier one without guilt.
