Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is admit something physically hurts.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Denying pain feels like toughness and usually functions as delay. Saying plainly that something hurts is what allows it to be looked at, treated, and prevented from becoming something larger, and it takes more honesty than pushing on does. Many long-term injuries began as something small that nobody admitted to for months.
If there is something you have been quietly working around, name it out loud this week, to a doctor or to someone who can help. Saying it is not a complaint. It is the first practical step.
What pain have you been minimising when people ask?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
