Scared and excited feel almost identical in your chest. You get to pick the label.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
The physical signature is nearly identical, and the label you put on it is largely a choice made afterwards. Calling it fear tells you to withdraw; calling it excitement tells you to go. Neither reading is dishonest, because the body has not supplied a meaning, only a state.
Next time your chest tightens before something you want to do, say out loud that you are excited. Do not argue with the feeling, just name it differently and carry on. The sensation will do what it does either way.
What are you calling fear that might just be excitement?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
