The worst year of your life might one day be the chapter that helps someone else survive theirs.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Hard years do not come with a purpose attached, and nothing about them is improved by being told they happened for a reason. What is true is narrower. Having been somewhere gives you a knowledge of it that nobody outside can fake, and that knowledge can reach a person who is in it now. The meaning is not in the suffering. It is in what you might be able to offer afterward, if you ever want to.
There is no schedule for this. If a time comes when you can speak about it without cost to yourself, someone will be glad you did.
What did your hardest year teach that someone else needs?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
