Beat yesterday’s version by one page, one lap, one rep. Nobody else’s numbers are on your scoreboard.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Comparison against other people is mostly noise, because you are seeing their current state without their starting point or their circumstances. Measured against yourself, progress becomes legible and small gains stop looking like failure. One more of anything is a real result, repeated often enough to compound, and it does not require anyone else to be doing worse.
Write down where you finished today, then aim for one unit past it next time. Keep the unit small enough that a bad day still clears it. Let the scoreboard have exactly one name on it.
Whose numbers are you measuring yourself against instead of yours?
