Fill a sketchbook with bad drawings. The good ones are buried somewhere around page ninety.

CREATIVITY
Volume is the mechanism, not a stage you pass through to reach talent. The early work is bad because it has to be, and the only way past it is a large quantity of attempts that nobody needs to see. Quality is what happens to quantity after a while, and there is no shortcut that skips the pages.
Set a page count rather than a quality target, and let the results be as bad as they are. Keep them all, including the worst ones. In a few months the early pages will be the clearest evidence you have moved.
How many bad attempts are you willing to make first?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
