Some locations carry emotions long after the people attached to them have moved on.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Feeling attaches to place with surprising durability. The house where a relationship ended, the hospital corridor, the street where you were happy for one particular summer, all keep producing something in you long after everyone involved has moved on with their lives. The place holds the feeling because it never had to update, and you meet it again intact.
If you know a location does this to you, decide deliberately whether to visit it. Going can be worth it, and so can waiting. Either way, do it knowingly rather than being ambushed.
Which place still stirs something when you pass it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
