Procrastinating on a calling is just saying “not yet” to God with better excuses.

Delay is a decision that never has to be spoken. Putting something off indefinitely produces the same result as refusing it, with none of the discomfort of having refused, which is what makes it so easy to keep doing. Better reasons accumulate over time, and each one sounds responsible on its own.

Name the thing you keep deferring, then find the smallest version you could begin this week. Not the full commitment, the first step: the conversation, the application, the hour. Readiness usually arrives after starting rather than before it.
