Courage with God isn’t the absence of shaking knees. It’s walking with them.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Courage is regularly described as the absence of fear, which makes anyone who feels afraid conclude they do not have it. Shaking is a physical response to something that matters, and it does not go away in people who act well, it simply stops being the deciding vote. The bravery is in the walking, with everything still happening in your body.
Stop waiting for the fear to clear before you go. Take the step while you are nervous, and let the nerves come along. Afterward, notice that you did it afraid, since that memory is useful later.
When did you last act while your hands were still shaking?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
