Generosity is just trust with its hands open.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Giving is usually framed as a question of kindness when it is closer to a question of security. Holding tightly makes sense when you believe there will not be enough, so open hands are an expression of expecting provision rather than an unusual level of virtue. Whatever you find impossible to release is a fair map of what you are relying on.
Give away something that costs you a little this week, quietly. Notice the resistance and what it is protecting. Generosity is easier to grow through repetition than through conviction.
What do you hold tightest, and who taught you to?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
