Temptation always shows up when you’re tired, hungry, or bored. Plan for those hours.

REFLECTION
Willpower is not a fixed quantity. It drains with sleep, food and boredom, which is why the choices you regret cluster in the same few hours: late at night, after a long shift, in the gap when nothing is happening. The problem is usually the hour rather than your character. Treating it as a character flaw keeps you fixing the wrong thing.
Work out which hours you tend to lose and make a plan for them before they arrive. Eat something, go to bed, put the thing out of reach, arrange to be around people. You are not weak for needing the plan, only aware of when you are outnumbered.
At what hour are you easiest to talk into things?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
