Purpose isn’t printed on a business card. It’s on the faces of people you showed up for.

REFLECTION
Titles describe a function, not a reason. You can hold an impressive one and still be unable to say what any of it was for, because that answer lives with people rather than on paper. What you did for someone, who could count on you, who is different because you were around: that is where the meaning gets stored.
Think about who has needed you in the past month and whether you showed up for them. Pick one person this week and be reliable in a way they can feel. Let your sense of doing something worthwhile come from that rather than from whatever line is currently under your name.
Whose face comes to mind when you think of showing up?
