Your legs never once asked whether you felt like going. They just carried you there. Say thanks sometimes.
GRATITUDE
GRATITUDE
Your body has been doing the work regardless of your opinion about it. It carried you to everything you have ever enjoyed, on days you felt like going and on days you did not. Reliability is what makes it invisible. That is why the only time most people address their body is to complain about it.
Say thanks for something it does for you, plainly, this week. Then treat it the way you treat things you are grateful for: sleep, water, a walk, an actual rest day. Not as a project to be corrected, just as the thing that has been carrying you the whole time.
Where did your legs carry you today without any complaint?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
