You carry fragments of every place that taught you how to live.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Every place you have lived taught you something about how life works, and you carried the fragments forward without sorting them. A way of cooking, a sense of what a good evening is, an idea about how neighbours behave, an instinct about money. Your present life is assembled partly out of these pieces, borrowed from settings you may not have thought about in years.
Try to trace one of your habits back to where you learned it. It is an interesting exercise and it sometimes reveals a piece you would rather return.
What habit did you pick up from a place you no longer live?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
