Save the voice notes from people you love. One day the sound of them saying your name will be worth more than any photo.

A voice carries what a photograph cannot. The pace somebody speaks at, the way they start a sentence, the particular sound of your name in their mouth: none of that is in an image, and none of it is something you can reconstruct from memory later. Recordings of ordinary speech are easy to delete because they appear to contain nothing.

Start keeping them. Make a folder and move the messages into it, especially the pointless ones about nothing. You do not have to think about why. You only have to not delete them.
