Scarcity creates strategy because desire alone cannot fund everything.

When resources are unlimited, wanting something is enough of a plan. When they are not, you have to decide sequence, allocation, and what gets left out, and that is what strategy actually is. Constraint is not the enemy of ambition, it is what turns ambition into something with a shape.

Take something you want and write down what it will be funded from. Time, money, attention, and what gives way to provide it. A want with a funding source is a plan.
