Reinvention doesn’t mean torching your whole life. Renovate one room at a time.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Wholesale reinvention is appealing because it promises to fix everything at once, and it usually collapses because it puts every part of your life under construction simultaneously with nowhere left to stand. Change survives better when most of your life stays intact around the part that is being worked on.
Pick one area, give it a season, and leave the rest alone even if the rest also needs attention. Finish, then move. Having somewhere stable to return to each evening is what makes the work possible at all.
Which single part of your life would you change first?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
