Some of your best lessons will come from people younger than you. Don’t let age filter your teachers.

Useful information does not arrive in order of age. Someone younger has been somewhere you have not, noticed something you stopped noticing, or simply thought about a thing more carefully than you did, and filtering that out by seniority means discarding it on a criterion that has nothing to do with whether it is true.
Ask a younger person a real question this month, not a polite one. Then take the answer as seriously as you would from anyone else. Notice whether your first instinct was to discount it, and what that instinct is costing you.
What has someone younger than you taught you recently?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
