Walk into practice like it’s a funeral and you’ll get a funeral. Rooms borrow your weather.

LEADERSHIP
Whatever state you bring in gets copied before anyone has worked out why, particularly by people watching you for cues about how the session will go. This is not an argument for forced brightness, which reads as false and creates a tension of its own. It is that your ordinary manner sets a baseline everyone else works from without noticing.
Take thirty seconds before you walk in to decide what the room needs from you. Say your first two sentences with some life in them. If you genuinely have nothing, say so plainly rather than performing a mood you do not have.
What mood did you bring into the room this morning?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
