Typing “leader” in your bio is like writing “funny” on your forehead. Let others do the labeling.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Some qualities cannot be self-declared without undermining themselves. Claiming them shifts the listener into judging the claim rather than watching the behavior, and the gap between the label and the evidence becomes the only thing anybody looks at. Descriptions of you are worth something precisely because someone else chose to give them.
Take the adjective you most want applied to you and stop saying it about yourself for a month. Do the thing it describes instead, quietly, where people can see. Let the word arrive from somebody else or not at all.
Which label do you claim that others have not given you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
