Say the unpopular answer in class. Even if you’re wrong, you just showed everyone it’s allowed to think out loud.

A classroom where nobody risks a wrong answer teaches everyone to stay silent and guess privately. One person being visibly wrong, and surviving it, changes what the rest of the room believes is safe. The value of speaking up is only partly in the answer; most of it is in the demonstration.

Say the thing you are only seventy percent sure about, once this week, in a room where it would be easier not to. Offer it as a thought rather than a claim. Then watch how many other people follow you into the water.
