Listen longest to the person who sees it differently. Agreement teaches you nothing new.

Agreement is pleasant and informationally empty. When someone confirms your view, nothing in your model changes, so the conversation feels good and leaves you exactly where you started. Disagreement is the only place new information can enter, which is why it is worth staying in longer than feels natural.
In the next conversation where you differ, set yourself the job of understanding rather than responding. Ask what they have seen that you have not. You can disagree afterwards with far better material than you had going in.
Who disagrees with you that you have stopped listening to?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
