The day you become the expert is the day it gets dangerous to stop being a student.

Expertise creates a quiet incentive to stop asking. Once people treat you as the one who knows, questions start to feel like admissions, and the field keeps moving while your picture of it stays where it was. The risk is not arrogance so much as the loss of a habit nobody expects you to keep.
Keep something in your week where you are visibly a beginner, inside your field or outside it. Ask the junior people what they are reading. Being the expert and being a student are compatible, though it takes effort to hold both.
Where are you the expert and no longer being taught?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
