Keep at least one hobby that has nothing to do with money. Some things are just for joy.

Once an activity has to earn, it starts being judged, and judgment changes what it feels like to do it. A thing you are bad at on purpose, that no one is paying for and no one will see, gives you somewhere to be a person rather than a performer. Everyone needs one room in their life with no scoreboard in it.

Protect one activity from having to pay for itself, including the soft version where you start posting it. Do it badly, do it privately, do it on a Sunday. If someone asks what you get out of it, the honest answer can simply be that you like it.
